Course Covers: The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course provides the essential skills needed to deal with a range of workplace first aid emergencies. Through practical, hands-on training, learners will gain the confidence to assess incidents, provide immediate care, and respond effectively until further help arrives. Suitable For: Employees requiring Emergency First Aid at Work training, volunteers, coaches, carers, and anyone wishing to gain essential first aid skills and confidence in an emergency. Requirements: No previous first aid experience is required. This course is suitable for anyone wishing to gain essential first aid skills. A practical approach, willingness to participate, and a good sense of humour will help you get the most from the training. Qualification Gained: Upon successful completion, learners will receive an Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate, valid for 3 years and meeting the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements for Emergency First Aid at Work training. Minimum Age: 16 Fitness: This is an active, practical course. Learners must be able to participate in practical assessments, including kneeling on the floor, performing CPR, placing casualties into the recovery position, and taking part in realistic first aid scenarios.
