Online learning combined with attendance at a one day practical session. Course Covers: Develop the skills and confidence to respond effectively to accidents, injuries, and medical emergencies involving babies and children. This Full Paediatric First Aid course meets Ofsted requirements and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework for those working in childcare and early years settings. Suitable For: Ideal for childminders, nursery and preschool staff, early years practitioners, teaching assistants, school staff, nannies, au pairs, children's activity providers and anyone caring for babies and children. Meets Ofsted and EYFS first aid requirements. Requirements: There are no formal entry requirements or previous first aid qualifications needed to attend this course. Qualification Gained: Upon successful completion, learners will receive an Active Aid Paediatric First Aid Certificate, meeting the requirements of Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The qualification is valid for three years. Minimum Age: 14 Fitness: This is an active, practical course. Learners must take part in CPR, recovery position and other practical assessments, some requiring kneeling on the floor.
