Course Details

Request this course for a private group to reduce your training costs and ensure that the first aid training is specific to your particular environment.

Please note: the minimum number of attendees for a private booking is 6 and, during the Covid-19 pandemic, to aid social distancing the maximum number is 10. Also, during this period private bookings can only be held at Staveley Village Hall.

Broken Spectra -Langdales

Course Covers: This qualification is for those undertaking the role of the first aider in an outdoors environment, for example at outdoor pursuits activity centres. The qualification is typically delivered over two days and covers common injuries and conditions that activity instructors may face.

Requirements: This qualification is available to those over 16 years. Candidates should be at least a level 2 numeracy and literacy or equivalent. Candidates under the age of 16 can complete the qualification, however, employers should not rely on those under 16 to be a lone first aider.

Qualification Gained: 2 day Outdoor certificate approved by FAIB

Minimum Age: 16

Fitness: These courses are heavily modified to keep within Covid-19 government guidelines and include: 2m distancing- No interpersonal touching- No sharing of equipment- Pre-course covid questionnaires
